The orchard suffers from bear damage every year. Because wildboar frequently appear in the area from evening to night, it creates significant safety concerns, causing people to avoid entering the orchard.

Tamura Farm is providing its orchards as a field demonstration site for DeterCamAI to test the system’s ability to ensure worker safety and reduce feeding damage. If the system works effectively, the goal is to expand its use to the Hirosaki City government, the apple farmer’s association, and other local agricultural groups.
